Common FAQ’s

We process faja alterations in the order they are received. Our standard processing time is UP TO 3 business days from the day your faja is delivered.

Business days are Monday - Friday. Weekends are excluded.

If you prefer expedited service, choose the 24-hour rush option to move to the front of the line and have your faja altered within 24 hours of receipt - during business days.

For the fastest service, select express shipping to receive your faja within 2-3 business days after delivery confirmation. Rush turnaround is independent of the return shipping you select.

Aside from the two specific fajas below, we have experience with and alter ALL FAJAS and ALL FAJA BRANDS.

We do not alter the Tributo Stage 3 extra high compression faja with the thick latex layer. We also do not alter the CurvyGyals Waist Eraser faja (built-in waist trainer), as it also has a thick latex layer. Those garments cannot be altered and are not recommended by The Faja Doctor.

Any other Tributo & CurvyGyals fajas can be altered successfully since those do not have latex.

We pride ourselves on offering the best possible customer service to our faja alterations as well as BDY Fajas customers.

In the very rare event that something doesn't fit right, simply reach out to us via email: info@thefajadoctor.com and someone will get back to you as quickly as possible (during our business hours) to help you with your concern until a solution is found.

You will not be left hanging! ♥️

We recommend sending your faja for alterations no earlier than two weeks post-op, with three weeks post-op being ideal.

During the initial 2-3 weeks of recovery, your skin remains numb and is not yet ready for firm compression, making early alterations unsafe. It is essential to prioritize healing during this period while maintaining proper compression to support your recovery.

Additionally, a significant portion of post-surgical swelling naturally subsides within the first 2-3 weeks. By waiting until around the 3-week mark for alterations, you can maximize the longevity and effectiveness of the compression provided by your altered faja, ensuring the best possible fit and results.
