Around 2–3 weeks post-op is generally the earliest we recommend, with approximately 3 weeks being ideal for many clients. Early swelling changes quickly, so waiting gives your body time to settle and can help your altered faja fit longer.

Always follow your surgeon's instructions first. If your surgeon has given you different compression or recovery guidance, their recommendations take priority.

Standard alterations are completed within up to 3 business days after your faja is delivered to us.

Almost certainly. We alter virtually all faja brands and styles.

The main exceptions are garments with a thick built-in latex layer, including the Tributo Stage 3 Extra High Compression Faja and CurvyGyal Waist Eraser. Other Tributo and CurvyGyal styles without thick latex can generally be altered.

Yes. We need to see how the garment currently fits your body. Your intake form will ask for photos so we can assess where the faja is loose, tight, folding, or otherwise not fitting correctly.

We are an exclusively mail-in alteration service. If you're local to the Atlanta area, standard shipping is typically very fast, so you can still have a quick turnaround without an in-person appointment.

Absolutely. Fajas can be mailed to us from anywhere in the world. The alteration process is the same; international shipping and delivery communications are handled by email.

Yes — that's what we specialize in. Depending on where the garment is loose, we can resize and reshape different areas of your faja to restore firm, even compression.

We generally do not enlarge an entire faja, because doing so can compromise its structure and fit. If the garment is simply the wrong size, moving up a size is usually the better solution.

If it fits overall but one specific area is uncomfortable, there may be another solution. For example, we can widen certain leg openings.

Yes. We can create additional room in the legs using power-mesh from the garment itself. Pricing depends on the alteration and length being adjusted.

No. Widening the hip or booty area can compromise the original structure and shape of the garment. If your faja is too small through the hips, we recommend moving up a size based primarily on your hip measurement.

Yes. If excess torso length is causing your faja to fold, bunch or crease, our Torso Shortening alteration may be the fix.

Unfortunately, no. Lengthening the torso would require adding replacement structural fabric and can negatively affect the fit of the garment. A faja designed for a longer torso is the better option.

Yes. If requested, we can reduce an oversized open crotch while leaving enough room for urination. This does not create an opening intended for bowel movements.

No. Adding a zipper to a garment that wasn't designed for one can distort the booty and crotch fit, create uncomfortable pressure, and introduce unnecessary friction against sensitive post-op skin.

We don't recommend or offer this alteration. Removing the zipper can damage the garment and create a tighter or awkwardly placed replacement seam.

If the zipper is irritating you, wearing soft underwear or padding underneath may make the area more comfortable while you heal.

In many cases, yes. Bra tightening can be incorporated into qualifying full-torso alterations when the garment construction allows it. Your intake photos help us determine how much adjustment is needed.

Generally, no. On these styles the built-in bra often forms part of the faja's support and strap structure, so removing it would compromise the garment.

We don't typically alter strap length because inexpensive bra-hook extenders or replacement adjustable straps can usually solve the problem without permanently modifying the faja.

No. A faja designed with straps relies on them for stability. Removing them can cause the garment to roll down and lose compression.

If you want a true strapless option, choose a garment that was structurally designed to be strapless from the beginning.

We don't add sleeves to existing fajas. A separate arm compression garment is usually more practical because it lets you wear arm compression only when you need it without changing the structure of your faja.

Sometimes. Small holes or runs approximately the size of a green pea or smaller may be repairable. Mention the damage in your order notes so we can evaluate it.

Possibly. If the previous alteration hasn't permanently damaged or removed too much fabric, we may be able to work around it.

We don't undo extensive poorly performed alterations, and the original work may limit the final result. If we previously altered your faja, however, we can usually retighten it again.

This depends on your recovery stage, comfort and surgeon's instructions.

Firm But Comfortable gives you noticeably firmer compression while preserving a little more room for foams, boards, movement or a physically demanding job.

Maximum Compression is intended for experienced faja wearers who prefer a much firmer fit and understand that the first few days of breaking in the garment will feel especially snug.

Many clients only need one major alteration. Because garments naturally relax slightly as they're broken in, we intentionally fit them snugly.

Depending on how much your swelling and measurements continue to change, you may eventually need another retightening. Four-row hook-and-eye garments are especially useful because they give you additional adjustability as your body changes.

Don't go without compression if your surgeon still requires it. Keep a backup Stage 1 or Stage 2 garment available, or use an adjustable compression wrap/waist trainer with your approved foams and boards.

First, make sure the garment is actually the correct size and that you're not experiencing restricted breathing, numbness, worsening pain, skin discoloration, or another concerning symptom. If you are, remove or loosen the garment and contact your medical provider.

For a correctly sized garment that simply needs breaking in, a brief fabric-softener soak can relax targeted fabric slightly. This should be used sparingly because repeated fabric softener use can reduce compression over time.
